2. What Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including when you:
- Request a free trial via our website or a Facebook Lead Ad form
- Contact us by email, phone, or WhatsApp
- Use our platform as a customer
Information we may collect includes:
- Full name
- Business (workshop) name
- Email address
- Phone number and/or WhatsApp number
- Postcode or location
- Information about your current workshop system or team size
- Any additional details you choose to share with us
With your permission, the Meta Pixel collects website activity and browser/device information to measure advertising and help show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. It is blocked until you accept marketing cookies.
Website cookies and your choices
Choose Accept all, Reject optional or Customise in our cookie banner. Marketing is off by default. You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie settings button at the bottom left of public website pages. Turning marketing off refreshes the page, stops the pixel on future page loads and removes accessible first-party _fbp and _fbc cookies.
- Necessary: cookies needed for security, requested sign-in services and remembering your choice. The first-party
pulse_cookie_consentcookie records the version, time and your choice for 180 days. Your browser may clear it sooner. - Marketing (optional): the Meta Pixel (ID 2139406313339728) may use first-party
_fbpand_fbcadvertising cookies, usually for up to 90 days. Meta receives website events and browser/device information and may associate this with its own services. See Meta’s cookie policy and Meta’s privacy policy for its own cookies and processing.
We do not currently use a separate website analytics cookie category. Necessary services remain available if you reject marketing. WhatsApp is an external link: it opens only when you choose to contact us, and WhatsApp applies its own privacy and cookie rules. Website consent is saved for this browser and website host; we ask again after expiry or a change to our consent version. If your browser blocks storage, your choice applies to the current page and you may be asked again on another visit.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Contact you to arrange your free trial setup
- Configure and prepare your Workshop Pulse workspace
- Communicate with you about your account, subscription, or support queries
- Send you relevant product updates or information (you can opt out at any time)
- Improve our platform and services
- Comply with our legal obligations
We will contact you using the method you have indicated (WhatsApp, email, or phone call). We will not contact you through channels you have not agreed to.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests — to respond to your trial request and communicate with you about our services
- Contract performance — to set up and manage your Workshop Pulse account
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process your data by law
- Consent — where you have explicitly agreed to receive marketing communications
5. Facebook and Meta Lead Ads
If you submit your details through a Facebook or Instagram Lead Ad, your information is collected on Meta’s platform and transferred to us. By submitting a Lead Ad form, you agree to your information being shared with Workshop Pulse for the purpose of arranging your free trial. Meta’s data practices are governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy.
6. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:
- Service providers who help us operate our platform (e.g. hosting, email, CRM tools), under data processing agreements
- Payment processors when you take out a paid subscription
- Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law
If you accept optional marketing cookies, website activity and browser/device information are shared with Meta for advertising measurement and relevant ads, as described in our cookie information. This sharing remains off if you reject optional cookies.
7. International Transfers
Workshop Pulse operates from Spain (EU). If you are based in the UK, your data may be transferred to and processed within the EU. Such transfers are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection law.
8. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Trial enquiries that do not convert: up to 12 months from initial contact
- Active customer data: for the duration of your subscription plus 7 years (for accounting and legal purposes)
- Marketing opt-outs: we retain a record of your opt-out indefinitely to ensure we do not contact you again
9. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies including:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function
- Advertising cookies — including the Meta Pixel, to measure ad performance and build relevant audiences
Optional advertising cookies are blocked until you consent. Use the Cookie settings button to accept, reject or withdraw marketing consent. See Website cookies and your choices for cookie names, purposes and durations. We do not currently use Google Analytics. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.
